By ashlee goeddel as i was thinking about how disability is portrayed in america today, i tried to remember where i have seen disability portrayed in movies and the first one that came to mind for me was pixar’s “finding nemo. ” i know when we all watched it as children, it never would have occurred to us that disability was strongly referenced in the movie but thinking back about it now, the idea of disability was all over the place.
