Then it went into syndication in a big way and i started watching this phenomenon which had been so popular on cable for a long time. I can guess as to what was changed for regular standards (like samantha saying, "wanna have sex?" in one yoga centred plot, instead of what a wildcat like her would really blurt out).

Ok, i've almost gotten the sex and the city girls out of my system. As an exercise, i sat down and really thought about it: which girl from would i most like to date? i've ranked them with explanations: least compatible: miranda this is shallow, but i find miranda to be the least physically attractive of the girls. All i am saying is there's a stigma in society that you need to be with someone and get married and have that all figured out by the time you are 30 and this show is a slightly glamorized version of what it could be like if you didn't make that a priority and had a career first and were getting in more serious relationships at 30, that would've blown my mind. You can nitpick this review all you want but i've been married for 4 years and this show is a good perspective of the other side, it's funny and witty and i love the characters and their truthful story arcs.
