Jaro tapal, a force-sensitive lasat male , was a jedi master who, during the clone wars , served the galactic republic with distinction as a jedi general in the grand army of the republic. Adhering to a firm and disciplined doctrine , tapal mentored his padawan , cal kestis , in the ways of the force. In the aftermath of the bracca invasion , tapal and his apprentice were betrayed by their clone troopers of the 13th battalion during order 66. Although he was mortally wounded while attempting to escape to bracca , tapal managed to get kestis to safety. Before dying, he urged kestis to hold the line, await the jedi high council 's signal, and to trust only in the force.

Former Jedi Master Cere Junda

Around 14 bby , five years after the end of the clone wars , former jedi padawan cal kestis works in a junkyard on the planet bracca scrapping ships from the clone wars, but is forced to use his force powers to save his friend prauf during an accident. Unbeknownst to them, the event was captured by a nearby imperial probe droid which transmits the footage to the galactic empire, revealing cal's true identity to the imperials. The empire dispatches two inquisitors trained by darth vader , the second sister and the ninth sister , to take down kestis. While being pursued by the second sister, who kills prauf, cal is rescued by cere junda and greez dritus , and flees bracca aboard greez's ship , the mantis. Cere tells him she is a former jedi and knew cal's jedi master , jaro tapal.

In the wake of his terrifying experience on dathomir, cal travels to llum to construct a new lightsaber. With the help of his new master, cere junda, he is able to conquer the horror of his past and forge his new jedi weapon. Cal moves forward, now determined to complete his mission, let go of his tragic past, and choose his own destiny.

Problem in Jedi Fallen Order

Luke’s dreams of rebuilding the jedi order ended in disaster, with his temple destroyed and his nephew ben solo fallen into darkness. A little confused about main character's lightsaber in the game

Tomo012 9 months ago#1 i'm still goofing around on the first planet and stuff but i'm kind of confused about the lightsaber's lethality. I'm pretty certain that a lightsaber can cut through virtually everything except another lightsaber and very few minerals and materials. Knowing this, did the game developers intentionally create a lightsaber concept that isn't much better than a simple sword? aside from cutting plants and a few inorganic things in one swing, the fact that crabs, rats, and giant toads can withstand multiple hits from it is challenging to say the least in wrapping my mind around.
